Can rooms be scheduled online?
Is access limited to one location?
  • All OfficeKey clients are welcome to utilize space at any of our five locations. Each service option includes the use of one primary address for mail and other official purposes. Additional addresses may be utilized for a fee.
Is space availability ever an issue?
  • Generally availability is not an issue. We monitor usage to ensure that we have the appropriate number of rooms to accommodate the demand. Of course certain days are busier than others but even on a last minute basis we can usually provide a space.
Can space be used without a monthly service plan?
  • Yes, non-members can book rooms at this link. This is a great option if your meeting needs are very infrequent. If you expect to need space more than once a month then one of our monthly service plans may be more economical.  
Is the office open on evenings and weekends?
  • The office is staffed during business hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Non-member bookings and Business Presence clients will generally be limited to access during business hours. All other clients will be granted 24/7 access. If receiving guests after hours, depending on the specific building hours you may need to greet them at the front door and escort them to the office.  
Does OfficeKey offer a “Virtual Office” plan?
  • Our Business Presence  service most resembles a virtual office plan. This service is intentionally priced a bit higher than other virtual office plans that are offered by our competitors. We do this to keep the address more exclusive and protect it from oversaturation by businesses that are not a good fit for the professional office that we’ve created.
Does OfficeKey have a coworking only plan?
  • Office Service clients have access to the open coworking seats at each location but they have access to many other features as well. We do not have a service plan specifically designed for coworking only and do not offer day passes to use these spaces.
How big are the private offices?
  • The majority of private spaces range in size from 100 to 150 square feet and can accommodate one to three people. There are also a handful of larger spaces that can be set up for a team. The specific sizes and availability will vary by location. Also, we have many teams that no longer require a dedicated desk for every individual and instead choose to have enough desks to accommodate their typical in-person workforce. This allows them to do more with less space. 
Are private office spaces priced on a square foot basis?
  • No, we are selling more than just space so the pricing reflects that. Within the walls of the private space we provide furniture, internet, utilities and daily janitorial service. Additionally we provide access to several thousand square feet of shared space including a staffed reception area, conference rooms, kitchen, coworking space, and more.  These aspects make it an apples and oranges comparison with a more traditional office lease that uses a basic price per square foot calculation.  

 

When I have visitors will it be clear that this is my office?
  • Yes. Your company will be listed in the directory of your home location’s main entrance. As they enter the suite your guests will immediately be greeted by our receptionist and assured that this is your company’s office. We intentionally do not have any “OfficeKey” signage in regular view of visitors to keep the focus on your company.
Is there a lease? What are the terms?
  • We do not require a long term commitment. Generally speaking our agreements are ongoing with no specific end date, and to cancel we require just 60 days’ notice. We understand that businesses are constantly evolving and while we hope for a long-term relationship, we respect that needs change and provide the flexibility to accommodate that.

Is OfficeKey a national franchise?

No, we are a family-owned business that has been locally operated for over 40 years. 

Do you have locations in any other cities?

We are affiliated with two national networks that can assist our clients that travel to other cities.  The Preferred Office Network and the Alliance Business Network offer access to most of the major markets in the United States.

How quickly can things be set up once a contract is signed?
  • In most cases we can get everything up and running very quickly so you can begin using the service almost immediately. If a dedicated space is being taken then we may need at least a few days to get it prepared.
